Kim Van Horn, Real Estate Advisor

Kim utilizes her competitive spirit on behalf of her clients – both buyers and sellers – to help them stand out among the others in this hot market. Whether writing strong offers with effective cover letters or preparing listings for maximum gain, Kim loves to win. She is known for liking things clean and in order and she strives for the same in the way she runs her real estate business.

Naturally personable, Kim is also a problem solver and strong communicator. She brings this unique combination of skills to every transaction, seeking the best possible outcome. She believes in the American dream of home ownership, and having supported her husband while he served for 5 years in the United States Army, Kim especially believes that every Veteran deserves the opportunity to own a piece of land in the country they risk their lives to protect.

Kim is inspired by success and the people who achieve it. She studies and learns from their examples and then tries to emulate what they do.

When not getting great offers accepted or securing top dollar for her sellers, you will find Kim enjoying the Colorado outdoors with her husband and two boys, preferably in the water. She loves running, hiking and scuba diving as well as traveling. Even though originally from Colorado, she lived in Hawaii for 4 years (where she was a licensed Realtor and part of a top-rated team) and still possesses the Hawaiian sense of adventure she acquired there. (Be sure to ask her about when she went sky diving, hiked to an active volcano, scuba dived with sharks and manta rays, witnessed one of the most rare surf competitions called the "Eddie Aikau", attended the Pro Bowl, and rode on donkeys down the Northern cliffs of Molokai!)

Kim graduated from Metropolitan State University in Denver, plays the clarinet, is a Broncos fanatic, and loves working out and country swing dancing.
She is most proud of and fully dedicated to her family…hoping to provide opportunities for her boys to succeed, and to instill the values she finds most important: a hard work ethic, respectful behavior and a humble attitude.
