Customer service has always been a factor in my career choices and working as a Denver real estate agent has allowed me to focus more than ever on this aspect of business. The career change came as a result my desire to help others, my understanding of finance and my entrepreneurial bug. My business card lists a title of Real Estate Consultant because, to me, being a real estate agent is more than just being a broker or salesperson, it's taking care of the customer regardless of their decision to buy, sell or walk away.

Originally from the east coast, I grew up outside of Philadelphia and went to college at Virginia Tech. After earning my degree in Business with a concentration in Information Technology, I headed to Charlotte, North Carolina. While in Charlotte I worked as a computer programmer in healthcare, met and married my wife, and ended up at IBM. While I enjoyed my days in IT, I always felt it wasn't my true calling in life. My desire to help others, combined with my financial savvy, lead me to a career in real estate.

Kelley and I fell in love with Denver while on vacation and we decided to make it our home. This is where I started my new career in real estate, and I have never looked back.

Since the beginning, I've truly enjoyed helping buyers and sellers with their real estate needs. To me, real estate is about relationships. I look forward to working with you and building a relationship that will last a lifetime.

Originally from Ann Arbor Michigan, I moved to Denver after graduating from Eastern Michigan University with a background in Interior Design and Architecture. I have lived in Denver for the past 15 years and consider this my home. I am a people person, and enjoy working with others, as well as having a strong interest in everything real estate. Those things combined lead me to be a broker. I have a diverse background combining customer service, construction, development, and commercial Real Estate, which allow me to better service my clients. I consider real estate to be an interesting, challenging, and exciting career, and consulting with people to obtain their dreams and goals through this medium, is not only fulfilling it is an enjoyment. I look forward to working with you to help reach your aspirations.

Let us take a minute to explain our business philosophy and how we provide value to our clients. Our team of professionals think and act more like consultants than salespeople. We use the title of consultant to distinguish ourselves from any other Denver real estate agent who focuses on one sale. We prefer to build long term relationships by listening to clients and working hard for them; we focus on helping clients make the best decision for their situation, regardless of the outcome. The nature of real estate is such that we can also provide referrals to professionals in a variety of fields, each to satisfy a different need that our clients may have. So “consultant” is a descriptive title, above and beyond that of real estate agent, because we value the relationship more than the paycheck.

We don't spend time cold calling, door knocking or advertising to find people buying or selling a home. Our Denver Realtors are not door-to-door salespeople and we don't participate in high pressure sales. Our business plan centers on spending all of our time serving clients rather than marketing or advertising for new business. We're able to do this because our past clients, who know that we are honest and hard working, refer their friends and family to us.

We created an Appreciation Program to thank the clients, friends and family who fuel our business with referrals. This program consists of a monthly mailing, which might be an article on current affairs, investing, real estate or another subject that will be enjoyed. In addition to the mailings, we also work to build a sense of community among the good people that we come in contact with. We're able to provide our clients with referrals to people who do quality work while also supporting small business owners who we believe in and trust. We host parties and mixers as an entertaining way to say thanks and further this community.
